Rush's repeating of Rahm’s “retard” statement, and Sarah's response about Rush's statement, is a perfect example of their use of Rule #4:

They will always point out what they see as the "hypocrisy" of the Right, knowing they have no standards or morals for themselves to abide by.

A. I asked Palin spokesperson Meghan Stapleton for comment on Rush’s rant, and she emailed me this:

B. “Governor Palin believes crude and demeaning name calling at the expense of others is disrespectful.”

If A. was all that was asked and B. was all that was sent, there is nothing to indicate in B. that Palin was referring to Rush as being crude but, in fact, was agreeing with Rush in what he was saying about Rahm.
