Yeah. R-i-i-i-i-gh.

Medina ad:

“Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?” (Medina’s cultural heritage is German and Bohemian.)

She told a colleague last month in an e-mail. “Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.” But before she explained that, she told my colleage, who had asked her whether she considers herself Latina: “I’d not consider myself anything other than a wife and mother, a nurse and a patriot. I believe we too often get into race when it’s immaterial.”

No, Thanks, Mrs Medina.

She is also running Spanish ads. Hello Mrs.Medina! If they cannot speak English then they have no business voting IMO. When they learn English then let them vote. Assimilate. Learn English. Appreciate all America gives you.

So I’m sure she is blowing a lot of hot air just like Obama did just to get elected. Running those ads and saying what she has, tells me the border issue is just a try to get votes for herself.

No, thanks, I’ll stick with ‘ol RINO Perry. Texas has remained in better shape than almost any if not all of the states in the union under Perry's watch. As someone said, 'he's the devil we know'.

The motly crew running for governor is laughable; a MUSLIM, a trecherous RINO woman* (Hutchison) and a woman with questionable loyalties

*Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress “One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

LOL. And KBH and Perry are?

KBH is far worse, Perry is slightly better. He tried to move the Texas Guard to the border but the feds blocked him saying it was not in the State’s jurisdiction to enforce the border- the same position that Medina has taken in the past.

Perry also colluded with Cornyn and KBH to stop the Texas portion of the Hunter Border fence. Something even old Ron Paul supported

Perry only did because he was trying to militarize it. Look up Operation Linebacker. He was trying to put the TNG on the border to secure it instead of relying on the unfunded Fed program.

It wasn’t unfunded. Chertoff had over a billion to spend on it.

This describes part of it. This is what Perry was trying to do instead that the Feds killed. He was trying to take control of the situation himself instead of relying on DC.

Correction, it was Operation Rio Grande that tried to move the TNG to the border to secure it, Linebacker empowered and funded local law enforcement to clamp down.

Either way, both were blocked by the feds as saying it was out of the States jurisdiction, but frankly, were a lot stronger of enforcement measures than we are seeing from the feds.

Operation linebacker was to catch illegal alien “criminals”, not stop the so-called (in Rudy Perry’s mind) run of the mill illegal aliens crossing the border. It may have been useful but did nothing to stem the invasion

“Chertoff had over a billion to spend on it.”

So where did the billion go?

Gov. Goodhair’s wanting the TNG on the border made more sense near term.

To vehicle barriers, high tech nonsense and some single fence, largely. I imagine most was unspent.

Hunter mandated Double fence with a 50 wide border patrol road in between.

Look, I personally will be going with Rick. I would like to vote for Debra, but that has become a clear way for KBH to slip in.

Where do you get that Medina is not trustworthy?

Next Gov. election in 2016, Medina will be a force to reckon with, just not this year.

And Medina is the worst of all. Be careful what and who you vote for.

And where did Duncan Hunter’s Cali fence end up?

The “illegal” thing don’t need no stickin fence, it needs some teeth to go after jerk companies that hire them and jerk pols who give them free med and anchor baby rules.

We need a better “guest worker” program. Who’se gonna do the jobs? The lazy whites or the even lazier blacks that have learned its stupid to work for a living?

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. As 10s of 1000s of OTMs cross the border each year - including chicoms, NoKos, Iranians & MEs
