This makes FR look stupid.
And GW was not opposed to using nucular weapons, whatever they are.

Anyone who thinks FR looks stupid because we comment on this would think so regardless.

"Nukular" is the way the word is pronounced in certain parts of the country. John Kennedy pronounced every word ending in r as if it ended in ah, and ever word ending with an a as if it ended with an r. Yet, he is supposed to be some sort of eloquent speaker.
The objection to the "nukular" pronunciation is simply small-brained elitism by a bunch of stuck up snobs who think that the only correct way to say or do anything is the way it's done on the East Coast.

I’m sure the MSM and SNL will make as big a deal about the Obama slip as they did Bush’s ‘nucular’./s And if it is okay for the MSM to ridicule presidential missteps, how could it make FR look bad to engage in the same?

You're completely wrong. Bush's promunciation of "nuclear" (which was shared by Carter among others) is simply a mispronunciation of a word. He still presumably knows what the word means.
But Obama's pronuncaition of "corpsman" as "corpse man" indicates that he has no idea what a corpsman is ; it goes to the narrowness of his education.
