FRANKLIN, Ind. -- A former Salvation Army youth volunteer awaiting trial on charges of child molestation tried to arrange to have the witnesses and other people in the case killed, prosecutors said.
Conspiracy to commit murder charges were filed Thursday against Jonathan Hartman, 30.
Johnson County Prosecutor Brad Cooper said Hartman talked with another inmate, Matthew Parker, about killing up to 13 witnesses, but that Parker tipped off police.
"In addition to killing the witnesses, Hartman also contracted to kill a child of one of the witnesses that Hartman believed to be his," Cooper said...

People rarely wake up one day and decide to become a monster. I suspect this psycho has a long (if as yet undocumented) history of vile acts to his "credit."

Then again our culture is doing its best to convince us its okay to have adults and children having sex.

Coakley in MA helped put Gerald Amirault away for a long time for child molestation that never occurred. I do not support criminals but a lot of states want to grow their prison industry.
You don’t need to trust the source. The tip was sufficient for the police to monitor discusions between the bad guy and the intended hit man.
Hartman just today acepted a plea bargain for 70 years admiting to the charges, now can you trust the sources?
