Only in progressive utopia could a parent after living one year in a state get a kid born anywhere in the world a COLB. That would be Hawaii.
First of all, that law was passed in 1982. It wasn't on the books when Bambi was born.
Second of all, you are misrepresenting the law. Yes, since 1982, Hawaii has registered out of state births, but the COLB doesn't list Hawaii as the birth place for a child born out of state. Duh.
