“No silver buried here.”
A great old Chinese saying. Based on a story of a not-too-bright peasant who finds a large cache of silver left by the roadside for some reason. He spirits it home, and in the dead of night buries it in his backyard so no one will know he has it. But he keeps thinking maybe someone saw him bring it home or bury it, so, just to make sure, he goes around to all his neighbors and towns folks, who weren’t suspicious at this point, pointing to his back yard and telling them, “No silver buried here.”
I the so called Rev.Wright at his side, praying God Damn America or won’t the news media show that.
Great story!
I know I'm going to have occasion to use it someday.
Thanks for passing it on!
