I think that I could sew if I had a good teacher.

My Mom knew how to sew and use the sewing machine but never did teach me. She was probably too afraid to being as though I was so accident prone. She probably thought that I would end up with a sewing needle through the finger if she let me near the machine. She probably would have been right about that too.

LOL!! I managed to make something in home ec class in Junior High but that’s it. Just enough to pass. I’m pretty good at finding bargains so it never made sense to me to make my own clothes. Having girls has changed my view of things, though. It’s not so much about the cost benefit anymore. It’s about the moral upbringing of my girls. I may have to force myself to try. What I’ll probably wind up doing is just buying dresses for my girls from some wonderful mom online that makes them. :0)
