((LOL))Well, Comanche Public Schools are closed today. They did some work on trying to get power back.

We did lose power for a few minutes last night. Apparently, one of the transformers by the school complex had too much amp (electricity) so they took it off and put it on a generator and that's why school is out today.

The outage we had on Tuesday was due to a mechanical problem at the substation Northwest of town. Crews from PSO came down to fix the problem. We were without from around 2 AM to 8:30 PM that day. The lights came on and off as they worked to stabalize the substation.

Most everyone should have their power back in a couple of days. However, it may be early next week before some do get their power. Crews are working around the clock to get power restored.

Some high school sporting events were postponed due to power outages. Those events are being reshceduled.

There has also been some issues with water. Some city water tower were running short and some people were being asked to conserve water. The problems seem to be resolving themnselves in some cases now.

It in the low 40's right now. Did get some rain but thankfully it's ablove freezing so it's all rain.
