I always find it very odd that the same people who say we as humans can not regulate our sexual urges attack others for not regulating their food urges.

Evil pretty much incorporates all bad things, so one would expect hypocrisy.
That behavior is consistent, though, as excessive fattitude curtails an individual’s opportunities to insult God in that particular way, as they humpity bumpity their way into Hell.
Gluttony is a sin too, of course, but it’s not really as glamourous as having hundreds (or even dozens) of accomplices in fornication every year.
All that illicit sex, of course, has the side effect of producing “unwanted” babies who may be statistically more likely to be killed before birth.
And nothing sets the worshippers of Baal to tappin’ their toes and humming along with the music as much as the prospect of babies on the road to death.
