I have to disagree with you, because the total votes for Patrick Hughes and (I think) Don Lowrey, will likely reflect the number of conservatives voting in this Illinois election.

Explanation: we conservatives only get one vote apiece.

Seriously, though, as distasteful as he is, Kirk’s got name recognition, and especially in a primary, that’s a hell of an advantage.

Live in Illinois...while I voted for Hughes, I have to say I saw very little in campaigning from his camp...where was any support from conservative groups? I don’t think most voters (the few that there were) knew anything about him.
