Previously today NewsReal ran a Point/Counterpoint between Janet Levy and myself regarding Governor Sarah Palins endorsement of Rand Paul for Senate.
Janet expressed strong concerns regarding Pauls foreign policy views and argued that the apple doesnt fall far from the tree in reference to Pauls notorious congressman father.
I pointed out that while Janets concerns about Pauls views were legitimate, it appeared as though he did not foster the anti-Israel impulses of his father.
Well, upon further research into the matter it looks like we have a reason why Rand at least looks different from his Pops.
From the great blogger Sultan Knish who unearths a Rand appearance on the radio show of the conspiracist lunatic Alex Jones:
Youre basically what I would call a chip off the old block. Your policies are basically identical to your father, correct?
Id say wed be very very similar. We might present the message sometimes differently.. I think in some ways the message has to be broadened and made more appealing to the entire Republican electorate because you have to win a primary.
In other words Rand Paul is basically a Paulastinian Alinskyite. Hes going to be much smarter than his Dad at hiding his true views so that he might stand a better chance at achieving positions of power to implement the policies he supports. Its his way of utilizing the Alinsky tactic of boring from within.

So basically if one doesn’t believe US foreign policy should be influenced by Israel or Jewish lobby groups then that person is anti-Israel?
Aside from Bammy who really doesn’t like Israel either....
Sarah is a Supporter of Israel that much is undeniable.
Still shilling for Romney, I see.
More about Junior Rand and why he is the WRONG choice for KY Republicans.
You need to ask your boss David Horowitz why he associates
with Glenn Beck a Ron PaulBot who is the one who is anti Israel and anti war.
Yid with Lid

Alaskan Republican Jewish Coalition member Terry Gorlick, who knows Palin well and has worked with her on several issues.
Sarahs absolutely pro-Israel, he said, referring to conversations with her and comments shes made about Israels security and its importance to the United States. He noted that as governor she signed a resolution honoring Israel for its 60th birthday
Republicans Say Palins Israeli Flag Says It All

(IsraelNN.com) Republican vice presidential candidate Governor Sarah Palin displays an Israel flag in her office window despite the tiny Jewish population in her state. Republicans say that says it all
Sarah Palin urges Israel settlement expansion, attacks Barack Obama
November 18, 2009
Sarah Palin calls for an expansion of Israel settlements challenging 40 years of US policy in an interview with Barbara Walters. Palin also criticizes Barack Obama for urging an Israeli halt.
ABC quotes Gov. Palin as saying Obama is wrong to oppose settlement expansion........
I disagree with the Obama administration on that, Palin said. I believe that the Jewish settlements should be allowed to be expanded .........
Anything from Horowitz is questionable at best.
Anyone who believes that Sarah Palin can be ‘snookered’ has been snookered.
Paul is the most logical choice here.
So you prefer the RINO (McConnell & McCain)-supported candidate Greyson? Ugh.......enough w/ the big-government RINOs!
I'm gonna love seeing both father & son in each chamber of Congress.
Yeah, if you want another deranged Paulbot in Congress. Screw that.
No, I prefer Conservative Republican Trey Grayson to a deceptive Paleo who is being bankrolled by Daddy’s cultist Truther psycho supporters. Unlike you, I don’t want to piss the seat away to the Democrats. And I want to see his bat$hit-crazy senile asshat father kicked out on his ass, too.
When you Paleos throw around the phrase “NeoCon” as a pretty clear-cut pejorative, it always has the putrid stench of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism.
Plenty of KY Tea Party activists are supporting Rand Paul. Steve Forbes also backed Rand Paul. Trey Grayson is seen as a tool of Mitch McConnell. In weighting each candidates’ negatives, Trey Grayson’s coziness with the Beltway establishment is seen as a bigger negative than Ron Paul’s lunatic followers.
The outcome of the primary doesn’t concern me. The political climate favors both Grayson and Son of Paul in the general election. Both men can win in 2010.
Personally, I prefer Rand Paul to Scott Brown.
Sorry, he’s a non-starter. I know where his money is coming from, and so does Junior Paul. The fact that he has no problem with it is disturbing.
Shockingly enough I read that Steve Forbes also endorsed Rand Paul.
ROTFLMAO!
Oh, really? Kinda like how the Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad is anti-woman or opposing affirmative action, Obana, or reparations for slavery are racist, huh?
GET OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!
Why is vulgarity necessary in your criticisms of the Paul candidates?
Wow, you need to smoke a joint & relax. It would really do you some good.
David is a good guy and a real fighter for the right. I don’t always agree with him on social issues but I would never doubt his allegiance to American freedom and the cause of liberty. He takes a lot of venom from the leftists.
One thing about Horowitz is that he will admit it if he gets something wrong.
