Actually, I don’t blame you. Those parting words were unneccesary and wrong. I should not have wrote them and I appologize. They sound mean spirited when I read them now and wish I had not wrote those final two sentences. Like you, I love this country and see it declining. I am tired of the same old junk in politics and do not believe we can tolerate that “political reality.” I have nothing against Sarah as a person. But, I am sorry, I just don’t think we are solving the real problem in our country by pushing her towards the presidency. We need someone who is REALLY not part of the current network. Our country is on the brink of disaster and will not be saved by a politician.

Stoop or stump? Perhaps you meant stump. I think she gave a big clue in this article as to why she has declared support for Mclame: “I thought long and hard about my participation in this weekend’s event. At the end of the day, my decision came down to this: It’s important to keep faith with people who put a little bit of their faith in you.”

Bingo! we have a winner! Thanks!

Gee, not one mention of her $100,000 speaking fee, I wonder why?

Guess what, douchebag? If you kept up you would know she is not keeping any payment for this appearance but rather contributing it all to the teaparty movement. BTW, what have you contributed besides nothing?

Sorry, when Sarah campaigns for McCain she shows herself to be just another politician keeping the good old boy network. I wouldn’t let you pay me to go hear her. These are empty words.

Still pushing Mitt Romney? Nobody is worse than him.

And, if YOU had kept up, you might have seen how that is a most unlikely scenario.

One says the money isn’t going to her at all, but straight to the charities. You say it is going to her, then to the charities. I’m sure Sarah would gladly pay the taxes due on that income (the charitable donations do not come straight off the top, of course), but, again, it’s not really likely, is it?

Let me put it another way. Would you be so likely to believe this story if the tables were turned, a Dem receiving the speaking fee and simply saying that he/she was going to give it all to charities?

Of course not.

I agree with every word of your post.

Sarah Palin is a real conservative and a real “every day” American as well as a great charismatic leader.

Sarah Palin will be the next president of the United States.

And I thank God for that.

There is no politician that even comes close to Sarah except Tom Tancredo but Tancredo never could achieve the popularity that Sarah Palin has.

Some so called “conservatives” demand that every single thing that Palin and every Republican does is perfect. But these same ones don't ever say anything about Democrats who every one of them the Democrats are rabid Marxist villains who are turning the United States into a socialist state.
So I say these “purists” these so-called “conservatives” who Bash Palin and Republicans for any little insignificant thing, these are Democrats posing as conservatives.

This weekend, it's Nashville, but in March, I'll head to Searchlight, Nev., for the kickoff rally at the Tea Party Express III. In April, I'll be in Boston for a Tea Party gathering there.

Uh-oh. Sarah just laid the gloves down. Time to TEA Party!

Hay, check out this thread (both the events above are TPXIII rallies):

Sarah Palin will rally for tea party activists in Harry Reid's home town (TPXIII)

Rather than use her power as Alaska’s chief executive to check the excess of the Alaska Supreme Court in their errant ruling in favor of homosexual rights, Governor Palin caved to pressure and vetoed a bill that affirmed the court’s aberrant decision and furthered the homosexual agenda in her state. Journalist Patrick Forgey noted the following in his December 31, 2006, article entitled “Juneau woman helped pioneer benefits law” which appeared in the Juneau Empire: “Gov. Sarah Palin, despite her opposition to equal benefits for gay and lesbian government employees, vetoed a bill passed in the special session designed to hinder the state’s ability to provide the benefits.”

Check Mate! Good catch! Yeah these are liberals/Marxists/Democrats posing as conservatives, demonizing Sarah Palin unfairly in order to turn conservatives against Sarah.

These liberals are rabidly incensed that Sarah Palin will be the next president of the United States, and therefore that their socialist utopia where they are all wards of the State will never come to pass.

Go Sarah, who is for limited government, for getting government out of our lives and out of the economy, who is for faith and freedom. Long live the protector of capitalism, the defender of faith and freedom, long live REPUBLICAN Sarah Palin!

She wrote about that in her book. My understanding of that is that she did this because she believed that it was unconstitutional for her to interfere with a supreme court ruling. She actually went against the pressure of her own party in this decision. She also mentioned the importance of “separation of powers” as outlined in the constitution.

You are a liberal/Marxist.

What’s wrong with making money or profit?

I don’t care if a billionaire never gave a dime to charity. It’s his money. Have you heard of property rights?

“Palin’s support of teaching creationism in schools and her ties to conservative anti-gay groups like Family Research Council, make it unlikely she will be in support of pro-gay legislation.
Sarah Palin and the Federal Marriage Amendment:
In a Christian Broadcasting Network interview, Palin stated that she supports a federal amendment, such as the Federal Marriage Amendment, that would ban same-sex marriage nationwide. This view is in direct conflict with John McCain, who does not support gay marriage, but believes the issue should be left up to the individual states.”

Conservative9 you left out the rest of the story, this is a very unchristian crusade that you are mounting against Governor Palin, merely because she is a woman and you do not want women in her position.

“Still ahead, however, is an April 3 advisory vote on the benefits. A bill placing that on the ballot was passed during the November special session, and earlier this month Palin signed it.

Palin reiterated her opposition to benefits for same-sex partners, and hopes the public vote will persuade legislators to vote for a constitutional amendment barring them.”

Davis, Whittemore and Ruthellen say it is troubling to have what they see as an anti-gay ballot measure hanging over their heads for the next three months.

Imagine that Sarah believes in going back to the government as it was detailed in the Constitution. No wonder a liberal like “Conservative9”
hates Sarah : it's because liberals hate the Constitution.

How quaint, this “Conservative9” is a liberal/Marxist/Democrat posing as a conservative, doing what the media does, demonizing Sarah Palin unfairly in order to turn conservatives against Sarah.

You liberals like "Conservative9" are rabidly incensed that Sarah Palin will be the next president of the United States, and therefore that their socialist utopia where they are all wards of the State will never come to pass.

I’m neither. The fact that you are so willing to call someone that who simply sees through Sarah’s self-serving statments speaks much about you, though. I would have figured you for a 1st amendment supporter, maybe I was wrong.

Nothing wrong with making money, but when she says she’s giving it all away, and her story has major inconsistencies, I tend to doubt the truth of it. I don’t care if she makes a penny or a billion. As long as she earns it, it certainly is hers to keep. But she says she is giving it away. There simply is no way to take it as income and donate it to charity and not suffer a tax liability, which would be paying taxes on money you don’t get to keep. That wouldn’t be like her at all, so I doubt the truth of it.

Property rights have nothing to do with her getting a speaking fee. Did you not understand that this thread was about Sarah Palin (you use “his” as the only pronoun).

Palin will not personally benefit from the money, if you can back up your silly claims then do it.
