Most of them are for bloggers posting blogs in news/activism, or for posts that use language or make statements that I think might reflect badly on FR if they were widely circulated, or where the post is nothing but a short personal attack on another freeper, which technically violates the “NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts”.
The Mods have a lot of ground to cover, and I think it is helpful to them to point out possible areas of concern so they can take action if necessary.
On the other hand, I don’t know if I report “so many”. I do enough that I would expect the mods know me, but not like multiple ones a day. They haven’t asked me to stop yet, if they do I’ll certainly stop, I don’t want to generate additional work for them.
I don’t do abuse for posts to me, except last week in that relgion forum dust-up because the rules are different there (which is why I don’t generally play in the religion forums).
I figure the abuse button is there for us to help the mods keep the site clean, orderly, and following the rules. And it’s not like I am making decisions — the response is up to the mods, I’m just pointing out things they might be concerned about.
I myself have never pulled the trigger. I don't care what folks say to or about me and we have mods for the rest.
What would cause you to hit the abuse button for Jim Robinson himself though?
I love it Charles...I have posted replies alluding to your being "The Self-Appointed FR Posting Chief of Police" and here you are admitting it!
Oh, SNAP!
At least you admit to being a rat...guess thats something.
