Talking about taxes, did anyone here get burned by the new lower withholding rates?
I usually owe an additional 500 due to SS being taxed. This year I had the regular withholding plus 125.00 per month. Glad I did as I’ll get back a modest 349.00 this year.

Pennsylvania Rep. John Murtha was back in the hospital Tuesday after undergoing gall bladder surgery last week.
The Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington said that the 77-year-old Democrat was a patient in its intensive care unit but referred all questions about his condition to his family.
Murthas congressional office confirmed that he underwent scheduled laparoscopic surgery to remove his gallbladder at Bethesda Naval Hospital last week. But the congressmans spokesman refused comment on the seriousness of his condition or any complication that required hospitalization.
