Creepy ..yes..which should be a heads up he is not the one to come. That one will not be creepy but rather charismatic and popular....
I do think that those of us with our spiritual eyes wide open will have the discernment of the Holy Spirit to guide us into understanding when the dude arrives on the scene. There will be some who know and are not deceived. This guy will indeed be creepy to those who are awake.
