Progressives, liberals...can never resist the opportunity to abuse power in their spite and greed for power.
28 hours without a lawyer? Really?
This is now a hugh, hugh story.

US Attorney’s are political hacks who do whatever the DOJ tells them to do.

If I were this guy, I would demand a retraction of all false information and would commence libel proceedings against all of those involved with any false info being circulated.
This is ridiculous, yet not surprising.

I’m glad Fox is on top of this. It’s a huge story, the way O’Keefe was framed and attacked by a complicit news media. Obviously the Prosecutor was acting on orders from Obama and his team of ACORN stooges.

If Jim Letten, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana, spoke disparagingly to the media about O’Keefe, O’Keefe has a very good defamation claim against him.

Time for Breitbart, IMHO, to come out with the info he said he had. (when he challenged Holder to investigate)

Letten’s office is now prosecuting four young men who are accused of entering Landrieu’s New Orleans office last Monday for the purpose of committing a felony. One is the son of the acting U.S. attorney in Shreveport.

"US Atty's office" may mean someone who works for Letten, and not Letten himself. Could be this was Letten's unlucky week.
There really would not have been any reason to keep O'K away from a lawyer for 28 hours unless the media, Landrieu and the LE ( FBI, USatty and Holder) were massaging the story. Then all media hell breaks loose.
This absolutely stinks. If Letten is the good guy here, he's going to get thrown under the bus, and he ought to take a few crooks with him. If he's the bad guy, he'll also get thrown under the bus.

"James O'Keefe sat in jail for 28 hours without access to an attorney, while the U.S. attorney leaked the information about his arrest, helping the media frame it as 'Watergate Junior,'" Breitbart said."The panty bomber on Christmas was given -- you know, this guy's from Al Qaeda, and he's not even an American citizen, and he's given access to an attorney right away.
Liberal thugs giving more care to terrorists? Not surprised... not anymore.

In the Obama/Holder DOJ, terrorists get lawyers, political adversaries don’t.

" The same day the man who first published James O'Keefe's explosive videos exposing wrongdoing at community organizer ACORN came to his defense Monday, claiming the conservative filmmaker "sat in jail for 28 hours without access to an attorney" while the prosecutor made his case to the media, the U.S. attorney involved stepped down.
