I am NOT a Muslim (I am a Christian), but I think the comments on this thread by many have gotten WAY out of line.
Regardless of this person’s beliefs, you people have no right to attack them, call them names, or compare them to animals.
“A Navy Vet” is a human being, just like the rest of us and is entitled to their beliefs.
I came across this thread today and I was outright disgusted by the comments I saw by many who were claiming to be “Christians.” Think about this: would Jesus make the same comments that you all have been making? Is what you all are saying considered “loving?”
The brutal and malicious attacks against people of other faiths must stop and it must stop NOW! This is not how we live as Christian examples.
Free Republic is NOT a “Christian-only club.” I have been on this website for years and I have NEVER seen such despeciable attacks against a person. I am asking that everyone please calm down and discuss things in a civil manner.

Jesus said there would be NO more prophets after him, so that makes mohammed a false prophet - a disciple of satan. His life of genocide, rape, theft, pedophilia, etc., makes that pretty clear, too.

I thought the posts have been fair and balanced...you may not like how someone expresses themselves but.... the Vet asked for peoples opinions did he not???? Of course he did.... since 9/11 he also knows he’ll be in for some comments that would surely be personal and cutting. He invited this. He knows what to expect.
Also There is One who had many words used to warn people, some very strong and unpleasnt words to those who were going down the wrong road as well. ....”White washed Hypocrites”.... “Vipers”... “Snakes”.... “Fools” etc. He then stated firmly to them..”How will you escape”.
There are people here trying to warn this guy as they should and I personallly prefer he sees this no matter the tone or intention.

He gave them that right by asking them....He knows what to expect....and don’t forget the one you serve called those he was warning... snakes and vipers....animals.
We are also called to warn people who are going down the road the Vet desires to take...
