Islam is an easy religion. It doesn't demand that much of you. I can see why men might want to become Muslim:

• If you're unsatisfied with your wife, Islam lets you take 3 more.
• Islam lets you divorce and remarry
• You can become a martyr while killing
• You don't have to be charitable to everyone, just those who share your worldview
• You don't even have to follow the religion, if you find a mufti to give you a fatwa that makes things easier
• You only have to pray 5x/day. All praying is public, so you get "credit" for it as a devout person.
• You don't have to suffer abuse, you can kill your abusers.
• Etc., etc.
