Will this outdoor "circle" turn into a circle jerk, or just jerks in a circle.
Maybe all military bases should close down their churches, chapels and other places of worship, maintaining them only when there is no alternate access, and let the members just go off base/post to the civilian church of their choice.
I don't really believe that but it may end up that way to get away from the "separation" argument made by the media in their eternal quest to keep some crap stirring at all times.
It's hard to understand why the ones who are against religion can't be logical and just stay home on religious days. But they are not about THEIR freedom of Religion, they are about denying you YOUR freedom of religion.
They need their asses whipped on a regular basis.

I was just talking to an Australian priest who serves as a chaplain for their military (Navy, if I recall correctly). That is the arrangement that they have used for years, and it sounds like it works fairly well. It really cuts down on the number of chaplains that they need.

Unfortunately one of the reasons this occured is that the christians would not let the rest just “stay away” but made them participate.
I agree that here in the States there should probably not be any churches on post as long as there are available facilities off post. Afer all the reason the chaplain corp got past the state/church was that facilities were not available in war.
It is not about denying you your particular flavor, but about me not being forced to participate in it.

That's an odd reaction, given that this story is about the Academy expanding access to worship facilities.
