They haven't earned my support.

Nor mine, but, being a realist about it, conservatives have a hard time getting a fair shake, especially in the media. Conservatives need to build in Maine from the local level up, and won't win state-wide or nationally until this is done.

In the mean time, I'll take Sen. Collins over the warmed over socialists green candidates who pop up everywhere.

As I said earlier, do you want her first Senate vote to be for Harry Reid? I think not.

That depends on the direction the federal government is taking in general. As long as the Republicans are saying "we can do better at crafting government help," then I am indifferent as to which party is in control.

I'm through voting for "lesser of evils." I'm no purist, but neither Collins nor Snowe meets my meager criteria for being acceptable. I'll say it again, I believe the GOP takes a vote in support as a statement of support for position and policy. Unless I can support the position and policy of the candidate, no vote.
