The best way to fight this stuff is to show how ridiculous it is. Simply saying something like "You know, racism is deeply imbedded in the way people relate to each other ALL OVER THE WORLD. It has been around all of recorded history. Isn't it nice that we live in a culture that can openly admit 'yes, we did this and it was wrong, and I want to go on record that my goal is to evaluate someone by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.' It makes me so proud to know that while not perfect, this is still the place where black Africans, Brown hispanics, and people of every color come to find freedom and opportunity. That they leave their own countries and culture where they are the dominant race to come here to start at the bottom as a minority because they know life is better."
