It is nothing but astonishing that Shuster could write such clearly biased Tweets and still be employed by any news organization, even NBC. You answered your implied question when you put "news" in quotes.

but she is a freaking United States Senator and as such has access to classified documents and a variety of other information not meant for disclosure by wannabe gonzo journalists. Have you actually seen her field office? I have. It is tiny storefront. They take constituent calls and do community action, and presumably collect cash bribes. she doesn't ever work there.
