I second that. The only change I would have made would be to leave out that 1st clause - While I don’t wish to speak too harshly about President Obama’s state of the union address. Criticize away, he fully deserves it and you're right. These are challenging times that call for candor.

As in “I don’t want to tell you what a moronic half wit 0bama is, but I am about to”.
