You're looking at an uemployment rise in brevard county of at least 10% from the shuttle program ending. It's already at about 12%. The economy there has been surviving on launch tourism, so not only do you lose the high tech jobs, you're going to lose everything else too on the east side of the state. Orlando will be partially shielded by other forms of tourism, but the indirect impact of so many unemployed people in the area will still be felt there too.
