I have never been to an evening music event in Luckenbach, I'll bet it is fun. We went to a joint in Harper to listen to music and it was certainly fun and it is a small town. We stopped by Luckenbach one afternoon and bought t-shirts but I failed to understand how it could be included in a list of Texas "towns". It is not a town, it is a beer joint and t-shirt shop. Was it ever a town? It doesn't appear to be anything other than what it is now, a beer joint named Luckenbach.
No, Luckenbach was never a ‘town’. Just a few buildings but they did build the dance hall which drew crowds. Been many years since I was there so don’t know what it’s like now.
