Wow! Not that this is a surprise but she will run for President in 2012. 2012 is going to be a showdown for who will ultimately be the President. I think it will be bloodier than 2008. Both in Republican and Democratic Parties but it will be exciting to watch.

Asked by talk-show host Tavis Smiley if she would serve eight years, she replied "For Vince? Naw, they'll never be able to pin that on me."

At a minimum, she is cutting her losses.
Whatever one thinks about either of the Clintons, they have pretty keenly honed survival instincts. She is getting the hell away from this Hindenburg gasbag.

Hillary was oddly not in attendance for the State Of The Union this evening. The timing of all of this isn’t by accident. She’s running in 2012. She knows it. Obama knows it and now we know it. I’ll be surprised if Hillary is still SOS 6 months from now.

It would be hilarious if the Dems have a fight for the nomination in 2012 assuming Obama doesn't voluntarily step out of embarrassment and shame.

well good riddance, but think of the self-contradiction, unless she only wanted to be POTUS for one term (which is hard to believe)
so she wanted voters to believe that she could handle the Presidency for two terms, but she’s over her head as Secretary of State?????
that is quite “interesting” to say the least......

I’m just thinking that BO has not made being Sec. of State a gratifying position for Hillary. He’s kept her in the shadows. She must be a very frustrated woman.
