WASHINGTON President Barack Obama's message to the country Wednesday night boiled down to a Reaganesque mantra: Stay the course.
Stick with the man they elected 14 months ago to change Washington . Trust that his stimulus plan, now projected to cost $862 billion , is lifting the country out of its worst economic mess in 80 years. Push forward to enact the rest of his blueprint, including at least some overhaul of the country's health care system, to build a strong recovery.

Channeling Jimmy Carter only with a extra helping of arrogance. Everything is either Bush’s fault or the public’s failure to conform to his half-baked plans. Arrogance was on full display when he was literally laughing at anyone who does not believe in his global warming hoax enabling.

I got disgusted with BO’s Ronald Reagan comparison (and of course set out to scream at the TV).
Just like the 1988 VP debates: “You, sir, are no [Ronald Reagan].”
He’s not channeling Reagan...he’s channeling something from below.
