The reporter who was a firthand witness to Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s “Not true (you lie)” moment during the State of the Union address named Kasie Hunt is the congressional reporter from politico.com.

KASIE HUNT is a Washington, D.C.-based journalist. She is currently reporting from Capitol Hill for POLITICO.
Before coming to POLITICO, Hunt covered healthcare, labor and education for National Journal’s CongressDaily and reported for the Washington bureau of The Associated Press, where she covered Capitol Hill, the White House, and other government agencies. She has also written for USA TODAY and National Journal magazine, and her work has appeared in The Washington Post and on MSNBC.com.
