Maybe they were just trying to find out how much of that $300 million from the Louisiana Purchase that Landrieu was going to put on the Aints in the Super Bowl.
I confess to not knowing much about this, but your post got me to wondering if Mary Landrieu demanded that the Saints make it to the Super Bowl in exchange for her vote for health care. Hmmmmmmm. After watching all the bad calls during that game, I gotta wonder. And I grew up as a Saints fan. We watched them lose week after week. Sounds crazy, but I can believe almost anything would be a bargaining chip with these clowns.
