Overall it was the somberist speech I have ever seen and as a Presidential State of the Union Address it had a great deal of rambling.
It had tones of they will continue their agenda regardless of public discontent- raising a serious warning flag!
Iran got one line of footnote buried in a previous applause, which seemed more like a continued more of do it or else, with a no recourse and a new clause or stipulation that we will give them 4 years and just settle the matter as part of a future global comprehensive test ban treaty. The reality of which we already know the outcome. More BS from Iran!
Feds put up or shut up on funding startups and student loan forgiveness!
The coming days will be interesting regarding partisanship.
If Congress can get serious it is still possible to avert the serious national security, research, and global scientific intellectual gap we are facing against other powers.
I'll do my part so lets see if any of the rhetoric becomes reality!
