Three of four men charged with illegally entering the New Orleans office of Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu returned to court Wednesday for pretrial meetings with authorities.

Suspects Defendants James O'Keefe, Joseph Basel and Stan Dai all carried suitcases and declined comment. The fourth suspect is Robert Flanagan.

Federal authorities said two of the men posed as telephone workers wearing hard hats, tool belts and fluorescent vests when they walked into the senator's office inside a federal building in New Orleans on Monday. The other

There is no allegation of wiretapping mentioned in the FBI affidavit obtained by FoxNews.com.

Aw, that was the juiciest part.

Yet the thugs who intimidated voters with clubs were not prosecuted, as per Holder's instructions.....

What a joke.

That was interesting. My big question is why would O’Keefe start filming the two “workers” with his cell phone, if what they were doing or intending to do was commit a crime? It doesn’t make sense. There’s more to this story than’s been revealed.

Where was this type of investigation when democrat operatives actually recorded the cell phone conversations of 2 Republican senators/representatives during the Clintoon administration? The consequences--if any--were minor to the democrats involved.

Secondly, O'Keefe is represented by the FBI to have aided and abetted the 2 phoney repairmen. Does video recording of any individual in a public building constitute "aiding and abetting"? I don't think so. Did O'Keefe participate in the manipulation of the phones, or block any staffer's view of activities performed by the repairmen? I don't think so. If I witness a bank robbery and take photos of the robbers with my cell phone am I aiding and abetting them? If ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC or CNN did this ( and they have done stuff like this before) they would be screaming "Hands off us! We're Investigative Journalists".

Another left-wing media double standard.

I don’t believe these guys really broke the law. They’re being railroaded by the pro-Commie liberals in the FBI and the Justice Department.

And if they did break the law, they did it for a good reason - to expose corruption in the Louisiana Democrat Party. That’s more important than the law.

Sounds pretty stupid to me unless this is what they wanted.

Hey now, the old coots who taped Newt Gingrich’s phone call(s) were eventually fined $500.

The actors were filmed making a call to one of their cellphones on Landrieu's reception area phone. They then made a call from that cellphone back to the reception area phone.

This proved Landrieu and her staff were lying about their phone system being out of order.

Sounds like this should get kicked down to ‘disorderly conduct’ or ‘tresspassing’ at most. I’m pretty sure this is going to fall apart for the prosecuting side rather quickly.

THATS the felony?

Notice the dramatic "wiretapping" charge has been quietly dropped.

Does anybody want to bet on who is going to get hit harder and sooner: James O'Keefe for his filming of Mary Landrieu's office workers, or David Kernell for hacking into Sarah Palin's Yahoo email account and distributing her private emails on the internet?

Yep, I heard that today....something about a video he was making having to do with a rally outside her office the day before?

Evidently the protesters were complaining about the phone system being shut down to ignore them.

Remember those silly vids he did in college?

Maybe they took it too far this time.

Maybe a stupid question, but why did they bring suitcases? Is that in anticipation of spending the night in jail?

Also, just out of curiosity, how much is the bail for something like this?
