John Edwards exposed as cheating lowlife, serial liar in book 'The Politician' by Andrew Young

Just when I thought I could not possibly think any less of John Edwards ...

I hope there is a special place in the hereafter for people like him. It's one thing to cheat on your devoted wife and mother of your children, who has tirelessly supported your career and political ambitions. To use your marital bed to betray her trust while she is suffering from a severe or incurable form of cancer, that is quite another. But to use your money and power to discredit and maybe ruin someone you know is telling the sad truth about you really takes it to a new level.

Actually, Edwards’s wife knew about her husband’s affair but still encouraged him to seek the presidency. Not too smart.

Made in USA: Young says Edwards is an Atkins-dieter who hated making appearances at state fairs where “fat rednecks try to shove food down my face. I know I’m the people’s senator, but do I have to hang out with them?” Before a SEIU candidate forum in Las Vegas, Young says Edwards made him cut out a “made in the USA” label from Young’s own suit to sew in place of Edwards’s “made in Italy” label.

Time together: While Elizabeth was on a book tour for “Saving Graces,” Hunter allegedly spent time at the Edwards home. Young writes that Hunter slept in their bed and entertained the children. He also writes that he listened as Edwards told her that one day they would form their own family and have a wedding where the Dave Matthews Band would play.

Remember all the flack that Ann Coulter took for signaling out Edwards as a scumbag? Remember that phone call from Elizabeth Edwards? Remember how the media pounded on Coulter?

Well what to they have to say now? It looks like Coulter was completely correct in her assessment on Edwards. Will we see a mea culpa from those who slammed Coulter?

I seriously doubt it.
