Clinton signals she is not a two-term Secretary of State

In an interview to air at 8pm tonight on PBS's Tavis Smiley Reports, Hillary Clinton tells Smiley she does not envision serving as Secretary of State for a second term. She also tells Smiley she is "absolutely not interested" in another presidential run.(snip)

Clinton previously told the Washington Post's Glenn Kessler much the same thing: "Clinton said she loves being secretary of state, but conceded, 'It is a really hard job . . . a 24-7 job,' and 'I feel the weight of it pretty significantly.' Asked if she would be sitting in the same office for eight years, Clinton shuddered. 'Please! I will be so old,' she said with a shake of her head."

BO has probably already picked her successor (one of his czars) and is likely making her life miserable by ordering results with no support - and we know how Hillary reacts to that.

I think he will reshuffle his whole Cabinet and because of the *crises* a lot of unqualified morons will be approved & substituted to the highest offices in the Executive Branch.

A lot of Executive Orders will follow!!!!

She is another one in Obama administration that is in way over her head. There is nothing more tiring than trying to do something important when you don’t have a clue how to do it.

Don’t worry, Hillary. Sarah isn’t going to ask you to stay on.

“’It is a really hard job . . . a 24-7 job,’ and ‘I feel the weight of it pretty significantly.’ “

Welp, there’s one anti-Hillary campaign ad in the can.

Something else to think about here, a year into a 4 year term, she is setting terms on her time in office? Sounds like the poop is about to hit the propeller.

Make no mistake, she’s not looking for a way out. She’s looking for a way UP. She is enjoying Obama’s failure immensely, because her run in 2012 will be “Don’t make the same mistake you made and not pick me.”

Then she's choosing an odd way to encourage voters/citizens take a really good look this time when she's actually held an Executive branch office, one that doesn't require nearly the time or attention that president does.

They’re not paying attention to her. Even if she does a poor job by the time she ends her tenure (not making any predictions about her future performance based on history), she can just shunt blame onto Obama (”I was hamstrung”). Voters don’t generally look at the SOS, they look at the President. Obama has sunk in the polls far more than Hillary.

‘It is a really hard job . . . a 24-7 job,’ and ‘I feel the weight of it pretty significantly.’

This cracks me up...they all thought they had the easy answers in 2008. I hope they all ESAD.

Most Sec. of State don’t go an extra term. They just don’t.
Washington had 4
Jefferson had 3
Adamas had 3
Madison had 2
Monroe had 3
Andrew Jackson had 5
Tyler had 6
Fast forward
Carter had 8
Reagan had 3
Bush 1 had 3
Clinton had 3
GWB had 2

I wouldn’t read to much into it.

Make no mistake, she’s not looking for a way out. She’s looking for a way UP.

The question is, how does she do it and maintain a hold on the black vote? The Dem party may start to realize that is has strategically placed itself in perpetual minority status by focusing all its “core values” on skin color. Short version: Dem party the party of blacks. Kind of hard to have a big tent when you can’t pass the skin color test.

All the people in my family worked hard at hard jobs. So...what is her point???? Mothers work 24-7 as well and they are not complaining. If she can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen. We’re not interested in if her job is hard or not. At least she is working... which is more than can be said for a lot of other people who have lost their jobs. Quit hilliereee if you can’t take it but stop whining.

OMG - LOL - If you belive in reincarnation, read the bio on Catherine de Medici. She was married to a King who showered favors on his mistress. LOL I guess things don’t change too much life to life.
