Every single one of these programs grossly underestimates the price and overestimates projected revenue. These will be a vast boondoggle.

Yep -absolutely true.

Here in central NC, we have had tons of money paid by taxpayers/governments (and some private funds) for YEARS to try to get a commuter train set up to connect Raleigh to the Research Triangle Park since I40 to the Park is such a traffic nightmare at times.

It is a TOTAl waste of money - even though the Democratic Mayors of Raleigh and Cary and the Democrats in the NC Legislature and Governor’s mansion and other (Dems mostly) have been pushing for it for so long.

It hasn’t gotten off the drawing board yet - THANK GOD - but those billions have still been set aside to make it so - do those studies - etc etc etc.

so here the Dems come again - more billions down the train drain in the midst of a recession/depression. Yeah - that’ll help things / not.

Yes, I’m sure the Airline companies need the competition.
Eisenhour had the right idea with the freeway system to
creat interior lines of transport and communication.
(an idea he got from Germany)

This doesn’t make any sense, no one is going to ship freight
on it, and the prices will be too high for the majority of
people.

Waste of tax dollars.
