There are more loopholes in President Obama's proposed "spending freeze" than in an Olympic volleyball net. Government entitlements (Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid) are exempt. A half-trillion in unspent stimulus money is exempt, as are foreign aid and the Democrats' proposed $154 billion jobs bill (Stimulus II).
Pet federal education programs will be exempt (including $4 billion for the White House "Race to the Top" standards initiative and $1.35 billion more he just requested in the 2011 budget). Green-jobs spending will be exempt. Electorally driven tax-credit expansions will be exempt. The health-care plan isn't included. As even The New York Times reported, the "estimated $250 billion in savings over 10 years would be less than 3 percent of the roughly $9 trillion in additional deficits the government is expected to accumulate over that time."
Which amounts to a drop of the ocean of red ink in which American taxpayers have been drowning.

The videos are damning to what little credibilty the man-child has.
Warming has hit the freeze.
I’m curious if this death spiral is correctable. I believe that the administration has deliberately opened the financial floodgates, and we’re all downstream wondering about the roar coming down the canyon. While a majority of Americans are donning umbrellas and rain ponchos, I think I’ll ready my boat.
What may save him is the fact that nearly half the country depends on the government in one way or another. That crowd leans Democrat almost entirely and, while some of them may be p.o.’ed at Zer0 right now, he may be able to win enough of them - and some independents - back to get his poll numbers back where he’ll feel safe again.
This is just more Democrat smoke and mirrors buffoonery. They are getting so transparent even the media can no longer ignore it. If this is what they meant by transparency I am all for it.
