No, I think that was a woman, apparently a heavy smoker. But I think she was lying about being Ellie Light. Her story had several holes in it. At first she said she did 13-week stints as a traveling nurse (is there such a thing?) in various parts of the country. She said she would send her letter to the local newspaper wherever she happened to be working. Of course that raises the question of how she managed to do 40 13-week jobs in only one year...But later in the conversation, she said she sent the letter to the different newspapers because a) it was such a great letter, which she slaved over and was very proud of, and b) because no one would pay any attention to a letter from another part of the country, if it even got published at all.
Whether or not she's Ellie Light, she's a liar, and not a good one.
Good points on the cities ... I’m totally
confused.
A close relative was a “traveling nurse”. She made a very nice salary plus expenses. It’s a tough life to move all over the country but a good way to make a few bucks in a short time like a year or so.
