In addition to a roundtable that includes Roger Ailes and Arianna Huffington, TVNewser has learned substitute host of ABC's "This Week" Barbara Walters will interview Capitol Hill's man of the moment, Massachusetts Sen.-Elect Scott Brown.

This will be Brown's first Sunday show appearance and the only one he's doing this weekend.

Republicans must be as stupid as the Libs tell us we are. Why do they do stupid things like this. Go to FOX where he is liked and respected and they have a ton more viewers. Sometimes I have to look up and utter “Lord, give me strength” ( my mom used to do that when ever I did something stupid, which was quite often LOL)

What is the fascination with this woman? She is one-note (trapping and embarrassing people) and has-been (she co-hosts The View, for pete’s sake).

BEWARE, Scott...Babs had an affair with the last Massachusetts Republican in that seat (Ed Brooke). Bring Mrs. Brown in case Babs puts the moves on you...I can see the crone pulling out the Cosmo centerfold and making all kinds of comments.

I agree with the poster above...”It’s a Trap!”

Could be a big blunder on Brown’s part. Walters has everything to gain. One mis-step by him and he has everything to lose.

It will be an AMBUSH! Always is with this biatch when it’s a conservative. I’ll bet the backdrop for the set will be Brown’s Cosmo centerfold.

MEMO TO BROWN: CALL IN SICK!!!

It reminds me how katie Couric subjected Palin to Gotcha journalism. Why would any conservative willingly fall into liberal media traps. Liberal media would be more than happy to cut Brown down to size and create a caricature of him to mock him all over media for all time to come.

I shall aways remember Barbara Walters interviewing successful candidate Jimmy Carter. At the end of the interview Barbara said:

DO be a good president Mr Carter.

A critic of Barbara commented on this statement and said, we have just heard Pope Barbara. If only, if only politicians of a conservative stamp, would consider this. Where is the possible advantage, just exactly where is it- in being interviewed by these people? He has won. This he does not need.

Roger Ailes at the Round Table too.

Wow.

Scott won’t fall prey to Barbara Walters. She’ll make a fool of herself.

WOW .. will Ailes be there when Brown's interviewed or will this be taped with Brown alone ? Should be VERY fascinating. Will Barbara fall victim to his hunkiness and drool like Sally Quinn ? I have no doubt she's getting her interrogation points to weaken him now. Go, Scott!

I want to know when he's getting sworn in.

Scott Brown, Gail Huff visit niece’s class in New Hampshire

Massachusetts’ new political rock star has a following in New Hampshire, too.

Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown was in the Granite State on Monday to thank his niece and her third grade classmates for their letters congratulating him on his stunning special election victory last week.

Brown’s niece, Maeve Riley, says she was surprised when Brown and his TV reporter wife Gail Huff arrived at Dondero Elementary School in Portsmouth.

Maeve tells The Portsmouth Herald her uncle is "really nice" and takes her out for breakfast every year on her birthday.

Teacher Christina Shaw says her class had been following the Massachusetts election because of Maeve’s connection to the race. She says she and the students were "psyched" by the visit.

LOVE this ..

Brown makes rounds, eyes February swearing-in date
Posted: Jan 26, 2010 02:53 PM

BOSTON, Ma. — Massachusetts Senator-elect Scott Brown is targeting February 11th as his swearing-in date.

He spent the day Tuesday reaching out to traditional Democratic constituencies, starting the morning with a courtesy call to Boston Mayor Thomas Menino.

Brown is also giving a series of media interviews, including a sit-down with ABC’s Barbara Walters that will air Sunday when she hosts “This Week.”

Looks like his time with Walters will be one-on-one,
as I suspected it would be. Get ready, Scott.. put
on yer armor.

I’m also going to be fascinated with Roger Ailes
apperance. That’s quite unusual for ABC ...but
then she seems to have a decent relationship
with BOR.

It says a series of interviews .. let’s find out
where ... LOL.

I want to know when he's getting sworn in.

February 11, 2010.

Over the weekend, I watched Greta's special on Scott Brown. Accordin to his attroney who's been his friend since law school, Scott won't be sworn-in until February 11, because the democrats in MA and in the senate are not giving him ANY special considerations.

Scott won’t fall prey to Barbara Walters. She’ll make a fool of herself.

Right---also remember, these segments are produced beforehand down to the nanosecond. Scott has a pretty good idea what she'll be asking before he sits down.

Of couse she could pull a surprise or two on him...........but after getting hardcore Mass liberals to vote for him, I think he's ready for Bwabwa.

BTW, Walters was born in Mass. Barbara's father, Lou Walters, ran a night club called the Latin Quarter in the Bay Village neighborhood of Boston.

Barbara's grandfather Isaac Abrahams changed his name to Abraham Walters.
