Palin was the most popular Governor and elected official in America and even after she became the subject of the most vicious onslaught by the media that we have ever seen, she resigned with 56% approval (and climbing) with her numbers never having dropped lower than 54%, even at the peak of the onslaught and attacks, and her reelection was guaranteed.
We are all waiting for the new charge of plagiarism to be explained.
