My theory is that all the theories offered that have at their core illegal and/or thoughtless actions are baloney.
Like any other story, especially a “gotcha” story about conservatives, or one where cops/prosecutors have an opportunity to screw with someone (for any number of reasons) - the REAL story is not the one that’s offered first.
Most times the REAL story (the supportable one) comes out in a limited manner far down the road, and it bears little resemblence to the “hang ‘em high” mentality shown by some here and the state-controlled media.

I think after Landreiu sold her vote for Obamacare, and voters called to complain, the calls didnt connect to anyone. The office responded the voice mail wasnt working correctly. I bet they turned the cameras on, tried calling Landreius listed number, reached no one, then asked for the number to the line on the desk, which worked (and probably unlisted)....the guy in the car was recording everything....
They havent been charged with wiretapping, just misrepresenting themselves as phone men.
