Hummmm,

I wonder how the FBI was so fast on this? Maybe they were already tapping the prostitutes, er senators phone lines and didn’t like the competition?

"I wonder how the FBI was so fast on this?"

I think it's reasonable to assume that Lanrieu's office is in the same building as the New Orlean's FBI office. My guess is someone from Landieu's office called the FBI, as would be protocol when anything strange happens in a federal office. How long can it possibly take for an agent to meander a few floors down to the site of the alleged crime? I don't think it's any great mystery "how the FBI was so fast on this".

The incident occurred in the Federal Building.

United States property.

Federal Jurisdiction.

The FBI undoubtedly has an office there.

According to the affidavit, O'Keefe confessed. I have a feeling his next journalism project is going to be a jailhouse diary.
