I’d take that bet. O’Keefe has(had) a promising future, and was very aggressive in getting scoops. Unfortunately I don’t think he would have used enough restraint in the pursuit of a good story.
The Feds go absolutely ape if there is a hint of unauthorized wiretapping. If O’Keefe was trying to plant a bug, they will crucify him. This is one crime where even the cops will (sometimes) eat their own.
i agree...he is very young and maybe screwed up by taking a risk and not preparing for it....on the other hand, it could be a frame up..too early to tell.
