Virginia news ping.
Well sad to say, if this isn’t their child, it is someone elses. Prayers up.
God help these parents.
What a tragedy!
amen- living without knowing is not living at all
Agreed, but I would doubt they would have said anything to the parents if they weren't reasonably sure it was her. May the Lord be with them.
Damn! Just damn!
OH, how I pray for those parents. This is their worst nightmare, and every parent’s worst nightmare, apparently coming true. And without their or our knowing, Morgan has rested in her Lord’s loving arms. May they all find some peace and comfort.
Why would they expect a parent to view the remains of a child, especially after there is so much decomposition? What is to be gained by this approach and not by dental records, etc.?
Right now the mental image of their daughter is when they last saw her. Nothing will ever replace the image they will be left with after seeing her in that place and that condition.
Just curious.
I am hoping (and praying) that the intent of having them travel to Charlotteville is for the police, FBI, etc, to show the parents certain clothing, jewelry, or other personal items which may have been found along with the body, as opposed to asking them to I.D. what is probably their own daughter’s rotting corpse.
That is far more likely. They are not going to purposely show anyone a decomposing body. I assume that they have DNA and can identify with that.
Please add me to your Va. lists.
Please add me to your ping list
RIP Morgan. You didn’t deserve this. Prayers for your grieving mom and dad.
I simply cannot comprehend the horror these parents are facing -- no matter whose remains they turn out to be... My prayers go out to them.
I agree with your assement. I highly doubt they would be shown the actual body but may have been shown the jewelry, purse, shoes, or any other thing that they could identify as her items. They may be connected to the local police tightly enough from day to day contact that they didn’t want to make them hear the news and not have any clue to whether it was her or not and the extra torture that would cause? This breaks my heart. I have a 20 yo niece away at school, this could be anyone’s relative. Please girls don’t go off with strange guys you just don’t know which one is a psychopathic killer.
You’ve been on the list for some time. I just keep one Virginia list.
Hm. Maybe the ping got buried on my list of incoming pings?
