An article in Britian's daily 'Telegraph' has made another damning case against Pachauri's IPCC on the effects of climate change on the Amazon.
The report suggests the IPCC did not research the claims themselves. It says the claims were lifted off a report done by the WWF, an advocacy group.

The WWF are particularity nasty liars. They have a polar bear commercial on TV with (I think) Noah Wylie going on how they are under threat of extinction from Global Warming. They lie even though this has been debunked and polar bear populations are up

What happened to all that “peer-reviewed” and “robust” garbage? =.=
Yeah, that'd be the World Wildlife Fund, the people who sued to get their acronym back from the World Wrestling Federation. Turns out they were faking it worse than the Perfessional Rasslers. You know your credibility is really, really shot when Vince McMahon doesn't want his letters back.

This is what passes for science today.
Your brush is far too broad. The vast majority of scientists -- and science -- are still honorable and reputable. You owe the rest of us scientists a public apololgy.
Actually, my brush was also too broad. It is only a disreputable minority of climate scientists who are behaving dishonorably.
No it is useful....the masses...the sheeple... when they see that suffix have a visceral reaction.

I don’t agree. There’s too much of using science to defend a preconceived notion today. It looks as though the cart is in front of the horse.
