Well, one thing for sure. I don't think the Democrats will take him back. Why doesn't he just declare that he is against the HC Bill, and starts caucus with the Republican now?

From an Independent to a RINO isn’t much of a change.

Why not run a real Conservative Republican against little Joe if the dems despise him who would vote for him besides a few McCainiac Rinos?

Love it how these people flip flop from one party to another when they see the tide turning!

"an old fashion New England moderate Republican"

An old fashioned New England moderate Republican huh?
You mean in the same vein as Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine?

That’s okay. If JD wins the primary in AZ, McCain’ll run as a Democrat to balance things out.

How about quit, and make room for an old-fashioned American who isn’t a crusty old socialist fossil that hates video games?

I’m wondering how many rabbits Lieberman has left in his bag of tricks. PPP has him at 25% approval right now. Granted, PPP is a Democratic polling firm. But even if you threw in 5 or 10 points for “special sauce”, you’ve got a pol with very low numbers. 2012 is a long way off, but I think he’ll have some very tough challengers lined up against him.

We’ll see, I guess.

It would help in the numbers game. We need 51 Republican seats to take control of the Senate. Then it will be easier to Impeach Obama.

I get so sick of this BS numbers game. Ok let’s take a look at how “great” the numbers were when we had the majority? Not great at all...we had RINOs undermining President Bush at every turn. Now look at the Democrats, they just had a full year with super majority and could not pass a thing because they don’t have “real” Democrats...they have DINOs as some Dems would say. So now “we” are cheerleading these moderate Republicans (at best) and you don’t think they are going to think for themselves after they get elected? I highly doubt that as history has already proven. What we need is 51 conservative senators and that is ensuring that ONLY conservative senators are elected and not compromising our principles which so many surprisingly want to do...quite a change from a short six months ago.

Joe, don’t do it. You had a reason to become and independent since the dims turned on you. There is no reason to become a Republican since your seat would artificially bolster the number of seats held by Republicans. Be an independent and do what the hell you want without confusing the constituents or reporters.
