Conservative Patrick Hughes vs Liberal Mark Kirk

Patrick Hughes opposes Cap and Trade It will be the largest tax increase in American History - and the largest transfer of power to the federal government since the New Deal. Mark Kirk was one of 8 Republicans who voted for it.

Patrick Hughes does not support the expansion of government or increased regulation Mark Kirk’s vote for Cap and Trade legislation supports an increase of government regulation in the lives of American families. His near decisive vote on the Cap and Trade bill also helped Democrats gain the legislative cover needed to pass the health care bill which, if put into law, would be a massive expansion of the federal government.

Patrick Hughes supports America’s progress towards energy independence Mark Kirk opposes using America’s resources to gain energy independence. He voted for prohibiting oil drilling and development in ANWR.

Patrick Hughes believes in “Peace through Strength”; a strong national defense Mark Kirk says he does too, but when the political going got tough, he was one of a handful of Republicans who voted against the surge, which was one of the single biggest turning points in the Iraq War.

Patrick Hughes supports the 2nd Amendment and the individual right to bear arms Mark Kirk gets an F rating from the NRA and an F- from Gun Owners of America. He does, however, get very high marks from groups advocating more gun control and bans.

Patrick Hughes is pro-life. He has always stood up for the rights of the unborn Mark Kirk is adamantly pro-abortion. He even voted against the ban on the hideous practice of partial-birth abortion He gets a 100% rating from both Planned Parenthood and NARAL. He is in the top tier of pro-abortion Republicans in Congress.

Patrick Hughes believes in a traditional definition of marriage Mark Kirk voted against an amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

Patrick Hughes believes hate crime laws are divisive and unconstitutional Mark Kirk joined left wing Democrats in sponsoring hate crime legislation.

He was on Dennis Miller’s show this morning. I have to say, I’m liking Dennis more & more every day. I wish WIND had him on live all three hours. As for Patrick, I wish Drudge would give him the same coverage he gave Brown. I will not vote for Kirk.

She’s too busy dealing with the flak from her endorsement of McCain.

“No Palin endorsement?”

Considering Palin endorses McCain, I’m willing to bet she’d endorse Ryan over Hughes.

Don’t live in this state, but contributed to his campaign. Conservatives need to do that as much as possible to help true conservatives beat the Country Clubbers!

Give her a break...She is probably endorsing McCain because he choose her previously as his running mate and would not of gotten the national coverage she has now because of him. She IMO is acting like any gracious lady would do. She stated during the campaign she did not agree with him on issues but believed the two of them could work together. I also think Sarah Palin believes he won’t get re-elected by her backing but by his efforts and on the issues his constituents are concerned about. It is like I slap your back you slap mine, but it is all up to you kid. And your worried about McCain? Look at the Rino deal maker that is coming out of MA.

Alert all Freepers!

We need to spread the word Fast about Patrick Hughes. Another full court press this last week, just like Scott Brown. Is there a telephone tree? A "money bomb" day? C'mon Patriots, we did it with Brown, we can do it with Hughes. He looks and sounds like a Good Conservative Candidate! February 2nd fast approaching!

From his site Here "If you agree with Patrick that it is time to "Take It Back" and are ready for the America our founding fathers envisioned, pledge your support with a donation of $17.76."

Spread the Word! Another Obama Smackdown in the Works!!

Remember the Goal! No Democrat Winner, November 2, 2010!!
