I read the whole article and I think I can summerize it this way: Obama is acting as a wise parent to the world implimenting the principles of positive discipline as an approach to the world’s problems. If this is true, then we can expect that if President of Iran nukes Tel Aviv, Obama won’t punish him, Obama will simply tell him he has made an inappropriate choice and we can all get on with our lives without pain or worry resulting from confrontations.

Somehow this is supposed to make us appreciate Obama even more.
