White House adviser: Obama has brought 'enormous change' Posted: January 24th, 2010 11:29 AM ET

Washington (CNN) - The White House rejected criticism Sunday that President Barack Obama has not delivered on his promise of "change" during his first year in office.

White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett said the president has brought about "enormous change."

"I think what we've seen is a dramatic difference in terms of how the United States is perceived around the world," Jarrett told NBC's "Meet the Press," on the final Sunday before the president's State of the Union address.

Obama's travels have established relationships with world leaders that "lay a foundation for keeping America safe and making us a partner around the world," she added.

Jarrett also credited the president with having "pulled back the economy from the brink of disaster."

everything is worse. So, yes, that is ‘change’ but not the change Obama promised. Although to be honest there are just a few specific items Obama promised, e.g. more openness, etc and he has broken every one of them.

They laugh at him behind his back. They view him as just like we do.
A narcissistic weakling, a clown, hell bent on destroying our economy.

Obama has brought 'enormous change'

And Mussolini made the trains run on time. B. Hussein isn't quite up to that standard, not having made anything better. But he has created change, maybe more like that of Chairman Mao.

"However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion." - George Washington - "Farewell Address"

Sounds like a description of the original "Jacksonian" Democratic party, which was orgainized to win elections, not even to advance a certain political philosophy. A pure of engine of power, which has now been completely taken over by "cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled" men and women.

Nonsense...EXACTLY! More and more Amaericans recognize the utter nonsense of the tired talking points failing to support socialist action items. Let them keep spouting the silliness. It clarifies who they are. And it strengthens the absolute resolve of the resistance.

Listening to that buffoon, Valerie Jarrett, you now know why I implore the Democrat Party to force POTUS Obama to resign or, if he does not resign to impeach him. You Democrat types better wise up quickly. Time is running out on you. Continue to tolerate this farce, this empty suit, this America hater, this economy destroyer, this weak excuse for our POTUS and, you Democrat fools will go down with him. No, he ain’t gonna change. He is a forever socialist, communist and facist, and he wants be just like his dictator forebears, Stalin, Hitler, Chavez, Castro, Mao, etc. Those are his idols, along with his America haters, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayres, Saul Alinsky, etc.

Warning!

Watching Valerie Jarrett (on the lift in the picture) can cause harm to males.

I didn't realize it soon enough.

When her image came up on TV it neutered my dog!

ElGato refers to "Jacksonian" Democratic Party. Perhaps these words are cautionary to Democrats today:

Excerpts from Andrew Jackson's "Valedictory," March 4, 1837, below:

"Knowing that the path of freedom is continually beset by enemies who often assume the disguise of friends, I have devoted the last hour of my public life to warn you of the danger. The progress of the United States under our free and happy institutions has surpassed the most sanguine hopes of the founders of the Republic. Our growth has been rapid beyond all former example, in numbers, in wealth, in knowledge, and all the useful arts. . . and from the earliest age of history to the present day, there never have been thirteen millions of people associated together in one political body who enjoyed so much freedom and happiness as the people of the United States.
You have no longer any cause to fear danger from abroad. . . . It is from within, among yourselves, from cupidity, from corruption, from disappointed ambition and inordinate thirst for power, that factions will be formed and liberty endangered.
It is against such designs, whatever disguise the actors may assume, that you have especially to guard yourselves. You have the highest of human trusts committed to your care. Providence has showered on this favored land blessings without number and has chosen you as the guardians of freedom to preserve it for the benefit of the human race. May He . . . enable you, with pure hearts and pure hands and sleepless vigilance, to guard and defend to the end of time the great charge he has committed to your keeping. . . .
I thank God that my life has been spent in a land of liberty. . . ."

After reading a lot of foreign papers I have come to the following conclusion of ways Obama is viewed:

a)They sort of like him but consider him sort of a buffoon and clueless. (England)

b)They sort of like him but consider him weak and incapable. (Germany)

c)They view him as creepy and two-faced, more likely to side with a tyrant than with the traditional American freedom loving nations. (Eastern Europe)

d)They totally scorn him and plan to use his cluelessness to hobble America. (Chavez, Putin)

e) They are totally tied into the Obama worship cult, and the man is a god. (black nations like Kenya)

Obama has brought 'enormous change

Fixing it: O has brought 'enormous' 'horrendous' change.

I thought Bush was responsible for everything since zero took office? Isn't that what he's said in nearly every one of his blame-game speeches?

Yes he has and it is all bad, very bad. If the changes Obama has in mind keep coming this nation will soon be ‘going’ to the bottom of the barrel.

Uhh, Val, you won't get any argument about the quantity of change - not from these quarters - just a few niggling doubts about the quality and direction of that change (stupid effing, corrupt bee-itch).
