Well Good Morning Altura,
Imagine this. I agree with you 100%!
If Palin has any integrity at all she’ll by McCain’s side helping him to get re-elected.
For those who don’t like McCain, and there’s plenty of us, don’t take it out on Sarah. She’s doing the right thing.
I’d think less of her if she refused. She should, however, watch her words that she remains true to her principles.
I honestly think Gibbs wears the bracelet as a ploy to make the SEIU purple shirts think he & Obie are standing with them in solidarity.
It probably works too because entirely too many of the SEIU members are a couple of fries short of a Happy Meal.
Yes, and his father had close connections with the Os mother after both were residing in NY.
Your friend is a perfect example of knowledge of half of an equation and brain washing over time.

Freepers have found a lot more names the Elle’s last night. We also know what the technique they are using is called and who originated it.

Wow if Arapio and JD team up together they will both be unbeatable, this is getting better all the time!!
There is a very good pro/con conversation going on about this issue on the Arizona message board HERE
I just lifted this link from there on JD's voting record:
Jarrett’s father was the notorious head of the Chicago Public Housing Authority - totally corrupt operation.
Jarrett is a dangerous combination of what Ed Meese and Mike Deaver were to Reagan - second to none.
As to this populist crap, it might shore up his base but it won’t play in Main Street and will rattle unemployment worse. You can’t be the “populist” when you are the nation’s chief executive officer and enjoy commanding majorities in both chambers of Congress. It’s a non-starter.
Hope BO comes out screaming and angry at SOTU address. The RATS will continue to jump ship.
You need to actually make this it’s own thread (if you have not already).. I saw a lot of Freepers trying to make an issue of JD’s loss in 2006... too many people posting things about AZ that know nothing about AZ....
I believe he is wearing it in honor and lasting tribute to Obastard's purple lips.
I just moved back to AZ. JD was my rep when I lived here before, but I left before he was pilloried and am really not that knowledgeable about it.
I don't feel I'm able to defend a separate thread on it.
I think if you Palin critics tried actually making a rational, fact based argument dealing in specifics about Palin instead of making these sort of ad homine attack, your side might get some traction.
These sort of "she doesn't know what she is doing, she is dumb, she is a hick" no matter how elegantly dressed up don't resonate with Conservatives. Stating "She needs to do her homework" while offering no specific examples of where she has not is a personal attack, not a serious critic of her.
None of you Palin critics are making a fact base argument. All your arguments boiled down amount to you all staiting this to "I don't like Palin". Unfortunately for you all that is not going to sell to Conservatives.
The sort of personal attack politics driected at Palin based on vague generalizations and opinions-stated-as-fact is why the Palin critics gain no traction here. The Palin critics debate tactics mirror what we on the Right are use to hearing from those on the Left. We are naturally inclined to ignore those who engage in those sort of debate tactics.
Good afternoon, mw18787! I am glad you posted what you did.
The word “populist” has been thrown around quite a bit lately, even in regard to Palin.
By definition, populism doesn’t seem like a negative thing yet it is clearly meant to be an insult.
My simple and innocent question: Why is being a populist so dangerous?
I appreciate your reply as I am just trying to understand better.
POPULIST
Noun
1. supporter of ordinary people: an advocate of the rights and interests of ordinary people, e.g. in politics or the arts
ADJECTIVE
1. of ordinary people: emphasizing or promoting ordinary people, their lives, or their interests
The article showing JD with in 4 points in the Rass poll is from Nov 2009. Current Rassmussen poll shows JD a 22 point underdog.
He has a lot of work to do. This is not going to be a slam dunk win for him.

Poll: McCain on Top in Ariz. GOP Primary

Seems to me, absent any smoking gun and those who think that JD may not be 100% perfect, is that he has to clear up some old campaign debts stemming from lies told about him that incurred huge legal costs. Is that about right?
If so we need to start some major league fund raising for JD right now and Scott Brown him ASAP!!
Give us you opinion on JD,he looks good so far to me?
