Excellent points. I did not realize that the administration micromanaged the Corzine campaign to that degree.
Obama, Inc. seems to believe that its real strength is campaigning and it appears to be the only thing that they are even moderately interested in doing. They may have won a very big campaign to reach the White House, but it was against a very lackluster candidate on the other side. Neither Hillary or Edwards were extremely strong even in the Dem primaries. Much of the country had already had too much adventures with Hillary and Bill to want to continue the soap opera of their relationship in the White House again; and Edwards was sleazy with his class angst spiel even though he lives in a house bigger than some villages.
Obama, Inc.’s insistence that they can control and campaign better than anyone else looks very delusional after their forays into Mass, NJ and Virginia. The NY race even became competitive even though the guy didn't live in his district. (Why does one of the most populous states in the country like carpetbaggers so much??????)
Our side has been looking at Obama, Inc with absolute amazement, but we don't have the same interests. There are some Dems who now view the administration as a threat...when the WaPo is editorializing that Obama, Inc doesn't seem to be interested in national security then, the threat is twofold. Some of the Dems are waking up that Obama, Inc is only interested in Obama, Inc. and nothing else.

*** Let's not forget the machinations of Ohaha's COS---that nasty toad Rahm Emanuel. Wonder Boy Rahm is obsessed with party politics. "Wonder Boy" even has a motto: "Party First, America Last." ***

According to Drudge yesterday (Sat), 'wonder boy' is M.I.A. and they're ready to put his kisser on Milk Cartons.

An odd thing too is the MSM is silent on Rahm's absence. Imagine if Dubya's COS went 'missing' for weeks. David Gregory would be going nuts and yelling dirty words in French during the WH press conferences.

Even as stunning as it had to be to see the Kennedy seat go Republican, I would say the Supremes dealt BamaKennedy an even bigger blow. Most especially after BamaKennedy thought that incriminating bankers for making profits would bring out the votes.

Now it will be curious to observe the state run media as to whether they will decide to make a profit and sell media time to any and all or if they will dutifully sacrifice profit to ‘save’ a flop.

“..president’s ...leadership style.”

What leadership? If you ordered cupcakes from obuma, you’d get pancakes. Give obuma a bag of sugar and a box of lemons, and he’ll make fungus. Tell obuma to lead you out of the wilderness and you’ll end up in Rancho La Brea Tar Pits.

Leadership...hah!

It would be cool if someone could photoshop that picture and give him a Hitler moustache.

Post-Brown----Obama will be marketed as "The President Who Got Back to Work for the American People and Didn’t Have Time to Campaign for Other Democrats."

Damn, we gotta get that on a tee shirt. ROTFL

N-i-c-e-take.

It does seem apparent that Ohaha faces Big Problems ahead..........for him and his party. Cloning the man who derided Scott's truck into a "populist" is an impossible task.

Aint gonna work.

I did not realize that the administration micromanaged the Corzine campaign to that degree.

That he did. Let me repeat, if I may, adding new facts.

OBAMA WAS DESPERATE FOR NJ's CORZINE TO WIN. The NY Times reported:
(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was screened by Obama's WH team.
(b) Corzine's aides gave the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team,
(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions,
(e) White House operatives were orchestrating obscure pep rallies with Latinos (kept secret from voters),
(f) Ohaha campaigned in the state three times, Biden was there twice.
(g) Ohaha TV ads ran relentlessly in costly NY media markets.
(h) The crooked NJ Democrat Machine was also running at warp speed.

Other pertinent facts:

>> Incumbent Dem Jon Corzine (the wealthy loser) outspent the Repub winner about 4-1.
>> New Jersey has a huge Democratic registration.
>> Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union helpers on the ground election day to get out the vote.
>> There was a third party candidate siphoning off Republican votes.
>> Corzine had the power of incumbency.
>> Corzine had the power of a crooked Democrat Machine cooking the vote.
>> Ohaha hid $17.5 BILLION stimlulus in New Jersey.....for Corzine's reelection campaign.

And still Corzine lost decisively.

Nice move Ohaha.....showing up in MA. ROTFL.

...... some Dems now view the administration as a threat...when the WaPo editorializes that Obama, Inc doesn't seem to be interested in national security then, the threat is twofold. Some Dems are waking up that Obama, Inc is only interested in Obama, Inc. and nothing else......

Healthcare, yes......but Sen-elect Scott Brown also tapped into America's disgust with this admin's coddling of terrorists.

EXCERT FROM BROWN"S VICTORY SPEECH "And let me say this, with respect to those who wish to harm us, I believe that our Constitution and laws exist to protect this nation - they do not grant rights and privileges to enemies in wartime. In dealing with terrorists, our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them, not lawyers to defend them."

Nice how Brown slapped down an arrogant SOB posing as a president who appointed Eric Holder---the dumbest USAG America has ever seen.

HEY, SCOTT GET A LOAD OF THIS VERY DISTURBING GOVERNMENT MINDSET INSIDE OUR WHITE HOUSE Obama-Incompetano pulled out all the stops to go after Americans few months back but are coddling bombers and terrorists. No more proof is needed than Obama-Incompetano's profiling Americans as “rightwing extremists.”

On April 7, 2009, the admin's hatred of Americans spewed full force as DHS Incompetano's Office of Intelligence and Analysis sent out a nationwide alert to US L/E to act against "evil" conservatives. DHS identified “rightwing extremists” as a "danger" and defined “rightwing extremists” in a footnote, as follows.

EXCERPT--- DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis nationwide alert to US L/E. Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

DHS later said that the report was not an attempt to squash First Amendment Rights for conservatives----only "hate groups"---- but, there was NO attempt to exempt anyone from these broad generalizations. Obama/Incompetano's report paints EVERY ASPECT OF AMERICAN CONSERVATISM as "suspect."

This is indicative of a very disturbing government mindset. Obama-Incompetano's documented hatred of Americans, and their ordering L/E to surveil and supress Americans......contrasts sharply with their kid glove handling of terrorists bent on violence and destruction.

I was thinking it would make a great post mortem of his presidency.

Fortunately, he’s already booked to help Reid in Nevada. He did that before Plouffe came back. Good for us, bad for him.

"The day-to-day political operation will be run by Jim Messina, a deputy White House chief of staff, but Mr. Plouffe will coordinate the effort."

Isn't a WH Chief of Staff a govt. position? Paid from public funds? Is O allowed to use public employees for partisan purposes like this?

Why aren't the %#$#@ Republicans jumping on this? (Smoke is starting to come out of my nostrils. Sorry.) Who do I call? Who do I fax?

Yes it is an official government position and, yes, from what other Freepers have told me, it is totally illegal to do what Ohaha is proposing.

And, YES = we should be bombarding the Repubs in Congress/Senate, and wherever else we can find them - to CALL THIS AN ILLEGAL ACTION!

I don’t think there is a majority conservative movement and to think so imperils us.

There is a huge independent movement and it is rejecting the far left. That is not the same as embracing the right. I think it is smack in the middle. What people here call RINo dismissively. BUt I think that is where the country is.

The far left is going off a cliff but the dems if they are smart will jettison them and maintain control of a big segment of the voters. And attract independents. Sort of like what Clinton did.

"Obama Moves to Centralize Control Over Party Strategy"

I am actualky old enough to remember the Cold War.

One of the things I remember about the Cold War was the Soviet Newspaper, Pravda.

This headline -- from the New York Times -- reminds me of the sort of things that I remember Pravda saying about Soviet leaders during the Cold War.
