We're both speculating.
In the end, if it comes to that, it will probably be a SCOTUS decision.
Who knows what they'd do. But my money would be on President Biden.

Upon reflection, though, I believe I'd prefer President Biden to President McCain.
On the one hand, we get a liberal buffoon -- confronting an organized and committed minority.
On the other hand, we get bi-partisan back-stabber -- selling out the conservative base.
